I spent the last 25 years of my life on a journey to greater sound in the World of Hifi Audio

So what inspires me to continue to build loudspeakers and to remain active in this world?
There is so much technology in this world and everything is changing, getting bigger and better (so to speak), but has the world of audio really reach its point? Is there anything really new or innovated that haven’t been done before? Or is all this new technology hiding what's really important in HiFi Sound or is it taking away the true meaning on what it means to be an audiophile or a lover of music? Also, are this new generation of listeners being blindfolded from the truth, with their iPods and digital media?
I remember the days when listening to cassette tapes and compact discs were the norm, while my grandmother listen to her album collection on the turntable. I also enjoyed reading audio magazines and receiving mail order CDs( just having physical media in your hands). Those days are gone, but just remembering those days of enjoyment keeps me active. It just inspire me to relive those days again. Everytime I discover some new music I haven’t hear before over a pair of loudspeakers, I get that feeling of excitement again, but its not the same. The enjoyment doesn’t last as long as it used too. There is just something missing. This is why I continue to explore new ideas while still trying to maintain that tradition of what it meant to be an audiophile 30 or 40 years ago!
This is what stated it all! How this 40” big screen TV spark me into
This is a good question for me. From the start, I had no idea on what I would do or where I would go, but life seens to put you on a path to whereever your destiny may be (if you decide to get out and try) You have to get out on your feet and than life will point you in the right direction, but sometimes these directions may not be your first choice, but if you go anyway, everything will eventually fit in and work is way out in time.
Again machining was not my first choice, but I learn to love it. It gave me the ability to do what I am doing today. It allowed me to focus on my creative side aand to understand how things are manufacture
Where am I going?
My Goal
At the end of the day, we all want to have good sound, that’s one thing we can all agree on. But how we come to that sound, is a whole another question. What qualifies as good sound, a perfect recording? The loudest or biggest speakers, the most wattage output? No, its the MUSIC!
Music has always been the source and inspiration, for individuals, (including myself) to create audio equipment that can reproduce sound faithfully at a realistic level. But more importantly, the music must emotionally move you with the speakers you are listening too. This is the whole point (in my opinion). Once you are listening to the music on a pair of loudspeakers, they must disappear (mentally) and when they do, your focus will be more on the music than the speakers themselves! To me, that is the Goal and that should be the building block for loudspeaker manufactures.
